John Valvanis has recently joined the Nexiilabs as the Vice President in charge of Sales and Marketing. He comes to the Nexii family with vast experience in the IT industry. He will be working out of the company’s US Office in Boston area. He would be working closely with the Sales and Marketing team of the organization to boost its business prospects. He joins the Nexiilabs after an illustrious career in TwinStrata.
John Valvanis was with TwinStrata for a period of 6 years. During this period, he looked after both the engineering and technical customer service teams of its data storage business. He was appointed as the Director of its Engineering division in the year 2008. Before joining TwinStrata, he was working for Incipient, an enterprise data storage company, as the Director of its Customer Services group in the year 2006.
Prior to joining the enterprise storage company, John Valvanis was associated with Hewlett-Packard (HP). At HP, he held the role of the Section Manager whose job was to look after the QA engineering and technical services teams for the CASA storage appliance business. Initially, he worked with a small company by the name StorageApps. He was the Director in charge of the Platform Engineering division at StorageApps. This company was acquired by HP in the year 2001. After this acquisition, John came to the HP with a designation of Section Manager and looked after its CASA storage appliance business. John Valvanis also had spent a number of years at EMC where he worked with the technical services team in various capacities.
John Valvanis holds a B.S. degree in Economics and Mathematics from the reputed Tufts University, a premier University dedicated to educating new leaders for a changing world.
